Luxury Car Buying Concierge

A luxury car buying concierge finds, negotiates, and arranges the purchase or lease of a high-end vehicle for you, so you get the right car, spec, and price without the dealership runaround. Car Concierge’s Luxury Concierge is built for vehicles over $120,000, for one flat fee of $1,200. We work with buyers in all 50 states and don’t take money from dealers.

Why luxury vehicles are different

  • Limited availability. High-demand models are often in short supply, and one dealer may have the exact spec you want while another has a long wait.
  • Market adjustments. Some dealers add a markup over MSRP on popular models, or require add-on packages. Those charges are negotiable, and they vary a lot from dealer to dealer.
  • Specs and factory orders. Options can change a luxury vehicle’s price by tens of thousands of dollars. We help you decide between a vehicle in stock and a factory order.
  • Higher stakes on every line. Taxes, trade-in credit, and fees all scale with price, so small differences add up.

How our Luxury Concierge works

  1. Define the car. Tell us the make, model, spec, and timing you want, or what you’re deciding between. Fill out the contact form or call, and we’ll reach out within 24 hours.
  2. We source it nationwide. We check availability with dealers near you and across the country, including factory orders where it makes sense.
  3. We negotiate the full deal. Price, any market adjustment, add-ons, fees, and your trade-in.
  4. You sign and drive. Pick up locally, or we arrange delivery to your door. We can also help you find an extended warranty.

Taxes and fees that matter more at luxury prices

A few rules that hit high-end buyers harder, checked against official sources in 2026:

RuleWhat it means for you
Washington luxury tax8% on the part of a vehicle’s price above $102,000 (since July 1, 2026), on top of sales tax. Sales to nonresidents are exempt.
New Jersey surchargeA one-time 0.4% surcharge on new passenger cars priced at $45,000 or more, or rated under 19 mpg.
Federal gas guzzler taxUp to $7,700 on new passenger cars rated under 22.5 mpg. The manufacturer pays it, but it’s built into the price.
Michigan trade-in creditFor 2026, a trade-in reduces the taxable price by up to $12,000, so a large trade-in doesn’t get full credit.
California and VirginiaYour trade-in doesn’t reduce the taxable price at all.
South CarolinaThe one-time sales fee on a vehicle is capped at $500, no matter the price.
FloridaThe county surtax applies only to the first $5,000 of the price.

Because tax is usually based on where you register the car, not where you buy it, shopping dealers in other states can widen your options without changing your tax. See our city guides for the rules where you live.

What it costs

Luxury Concierge is a flat $1,200 for vehicles over $120,000, plus $100 if you’re trading in a vehicle. That covers luxury vehicle sourcing, negotiation, and specialized paperwork handling. We don’t charge a percentage of the price, and we don’t accept dealer commissions or incentives. See pricing.
